Trip Overview

Depart from Dublin to Tehran.

You will be greeted on arrival by an OROKO representative and privately transferred to your luxury hotel in the city centre. Enjoy an overnight stay, discovering the city’s rich history and culture.

Walk through the multicoloured rooms of Golestan Palace.

With your private guide, explore the vibrant halls and manicured gardens of the palace, one of the oldest UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You’ll also visit the National Museum and Crown Jewels Museum.

Fly to Kerman.

During your two nights in the city, discover the medieval mudbrick citadel of Rayen and the historic gardens and mausoleums of Mahan with your guide. Also enjoy a guided tour of Kerman, visiting the Ganjali-Khan Complex, Vakil Historical Bathhouse and the Friday Mosque of Kerman.

Spend a night in a Silk Road caravanserai.

Transfer to this 16th-century inn in Zein-o-din for your overnight stay. Be immersed in history as you sleep in your stilted room, feast on traditional dishes and gaze out at the starry desert sky from the caravanserai’s rooftop.

Explore the historical cities of Yazd and Shiraz.

Enjoy a two night stay in Yazd, exploring the city with your guide. Transfer to Shiraz, stopping en route at the 4,000-year-old cypress tree in Abarkooh and the UNESCO-listed Pasargadae. Arrive in Shiraz for a two night stay and explore the city with your guide.

Journey to Isfahan.

Transfer to the city for a three night stay, stopping en route at the ruins of Persepolis and the Royal Tombs. Tour Isfahan with your guide, crossing the historic bridges of Shahrestan, Khajou and Sio-se-pol and visiting historic mosques, palaces and bazaars.

Return to Tehran.

During your transfer, visit the mosques and tombs of the Natanz Islamic Complex and explore Kashan city, stopping by the Persian Garden of Fin and Taba-Tabai House. Continue your journey to Tehran for an overnight stay.
