Our favourite way to holiday in Abu Dhabi is to immerse ourselves in the upscale splendour and Middle Eastern authenticity of the city before heading to a luxury resort in the heart of the Liwa Desert to truly relax and unwind. Whilst in the city, we highly recommend taking a tour of the iconic Grand Mosque and the architectural grandeur of the Louvre Museum. In the desert, take part in thrilling activities such as sand boarding and dune safaris.
Best Time to Visit
Like neighbouring Dubai, the best time to visit Abu Dhabi is from November to April, making it a perfect destination for a winter sun holiday. There is plenty of sunshine and temperatures range from the mid-20s to low 30s, ideal conditions for spending long days at the beach or exploring the famous sites and colourful souks. Key events that take place at this time of year include the Abu Dhabi Film Festival, Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and Gourmet Abu Dhabi.
