Zein-o-din Caravanserai
Dating back to the 16th-century, the Zein-o-din Caravanserai is one of the few inns of the ancient Silk Road that is still in use. One of only two rounded caravanserais ever built in Iran, the unique façade of the caravanserai retains its original appearance, while the interiors have been extensively refurbished. Rooms are raised on wooden platforms, decorated to evoke the feeling of Silk Road travel, with large wooden doors, high ceilings, walls and floors adorned with Persian carpets and little wooden ladders.
