Your private driver will be waiting to transfer you to your luxury hotel for your two-night stay. We’ve arranged a privately guided tour of Old and New Delhi by rickshaw, taking in the cultural sites and vibrant markets of the city.

As you set out for Agra, meet your personal valet and enjoy a delicious brunch. Explore the various carriages, where you’ll enjoy decadent meals, relaxing afternoons and glamorous evenings for the next six nights. Along the way, the train will stop for guests to explore.

Arrive in Agra and witness the magnificent Taj Mahal on a guided tour.

Described by Rudyard Kipling at “the embodiment of all things pure”, it is widely considered as one of the most beautiful buildings in the world. Then, choose to enjoy a luxury spa treatment or an evening spent at the Mohabbat Taj Show. Return to the comforts of Maharajas’ Express.

Arrive in Ranthambore for an exhilarating game drive in search of royal Bengal Tiger.

After a morning dedicated to exploring Agra Fort, your afternoon will involve an adrenaline-filled game drive. Seek out the iconic Bengal tiger as well as Indian foxes, wild boar and sloth bears. Then it’s on to Jaipur.

Explore Amber Fort and the highlights of Jaipur.

View the opulent interiors of Amber Fort, where ceilings and walls are decorated with miniature painting and glistening mirrors. Afterwards, enjoy a guided city tour of Jaipur before a delicious dinner at Rambagh Palace.

Proceed to visit the Junagarh Fort and experience Rajasthan’s Thar Desert.

After a relaxing start to the day, the afternoon will be spent enjoying sundowner cocktails on the desert dunes followed by a barbeque dinner and traditional dance performances.

The train leaves for Jodhpur where you’ll explore its highlights with a local guide.

Arriving in Jodhpur by first light, choose to explore the Bishnoi Village, followed by a tour of the city and its famed market by tuk tuk. In the evening, enjoy an exclusive cocktail dinner in a venue reserved for guests of The Maharajas’ Express.

Arrive in Udaipur for a peaceful boat ride on Lake Pichola.

After a wonderful experience, enjoy a guided palace and gallery tour followed by lunch at the Satkar Banquet Hall in Taj Fateh Prakash Palace. Reboard the train for an Indian-inspired evening before finishing your journey in Mumbai.

Bid farewell to The Maharajas’ Express.

After a marvellous experience, it is time to disembark the train and privately transfer to your luxury hotel. We’ve arranged a two-night stay so you can catch up on some relaxation before your journey home.
