This will take you through Kuching and Mulu National Park before ending with a relaxing few days in Langkawi in a beachside resort. The real highlight of this trip will be a once in a lifetime Orangutan experience in Malaysian Borneo that will leave you in awe.

Trip Overview

Depart from Dublin to Kuala Lumpur.

You will be greeted on arrival by your private driver and transferred to your luxurious city centre accommodation where you’ll spend three nights.

Discover the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur on a private tour.

With your local guide, visit and explore the historic monuments, meet the locals in the busy markets and try some excellent street food.

Next, you’ll fly to Kuching, a gateway to both jungle and sea.

On arrival, your driver will greet you and transfer you to your luxury property where you will spend two nights.

See endangered orangutans in the wild and meet Bidayuh tribespeople.

Semmenggoh Orangutan Wildlife Centre has rehabilitated a colony of Orangutans which now exist happily on the reserve. Learn about these fascinating creatures and come face to face with them in the rainforest. Then, visit a bamboo longhouse which is home to 80 Bidayuh families. Enjoy tea with one of the families and learn about the tribe’s history.

Depart for Mulu and begin your rainforest adventure.

On arrival you will be transferred to your luxurious property in a secluded portion of the national park where you’l spend three nights.

Experience a guided trek through the jungle in Mulu National Park.

Hike, swim and climb along Eden River until you reach the Garden of Eden Valley. Spot wildlife in the moonlight and explore natural limestone caves.

Then, it’s time to return to Kuching.

Privately transfer on arrival to your hotel in the city where you will spend two nights.

Enjoy a visit to Bako National Park.

The park has a number of well-marked trails offering interesting walks ranging from short pleasant strolls to full-day hikes. Try to spot one of 273 rare proboscis monkeys that are found only in Borneo and inhabit the area.

On to your final destination, Langkawi.

Transfer to the luxurious spa hotel where you will spend your final four nights. Take some time to unwind together in this tropical paradise.

Fly home from Langkawi.
