Trip Overview

Depart from Dublin to Windhoek.
You will then take a short domestic flight to Walvis Bay. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a driver and privately transferred to your handpicked Swakopmund accommodation where you’ll spend four nights.
Your pre-arranged rental car will be delivered to your hotel.

Twyfelfontein Country Lodge, Namibia

Twyfelfontein Country Lodge is situated conveniently close to the famous rock engraving site. The lodge is run in partnership with the community with some of the profits going to help support local community projects. Activities include guided tours of the rock art, the Organ Pipes and Burnt Mountain and nature drives to search for desert-adapted wildlife.

Sitting at the foothills of the Ondundozonanandana range, Ongava offers beautiful views over the well-frequented waterhole and vast plains beyond. Embark on exciting excursions like daily game drives, bird watching, nature walks, rhino approaching and photographic sessions in the lodge’s hide. In between game drives, relax in the main lodge or cool off in the outdoor pool.

Erindi Camp Elephant

Erindi Camp Elephant offers luxury self-catering chalets. Describing itself as charmingly rugged with a touch of comfort and style, the camp is the ideal base from which to spot a myriad of exciting wildlife. Take a perch at one of the camp’s viewpoints to keep watch over one of many watering holes where various game species including oryx, hippos, elephants and crocodiles can be seen.


The Elegant Guesthouse

The Elegant Guesthouse is a charming property situated in Windhoek’s residential area of Klein Windhoek. There are just six rooms within the property.  Guests can relax in the garden terrace, lounging on the sun loungers and at the outdoor pool. Nearby attractions include the National Gallery of Namibia, Owela Museum and Christ Church.


Mushara Lodge, Etosha National Park

Mushara is a family-run lodge located in Etosha National Park near the Von Lindequist Gate. While staying here, you can look forward to an excellent experience and high standards of service and comfort. In between exciting Etosha Park game drives, you could relax in the thatched public area which includes a small library with a selection of books, a bar with an extensive wine cellar, a dining area and an airy lounge complete with a cosy fireplace.


Old Traders Lodge

Situated within the Erindi Private Game Reserve, Old Traders Lodge is the perfect base from which to embark on exhilarating safari experiences. From the lodge, enjoy every type of safari imaginable, from children’s safaris to drone safaris. The reserve works to protect Namibia’s endangered species and it is one of the best places in which to spot the endangered African wild dog. Game frequently travel to the watering holes within the lodge and the viewing deck is a wonderful place to watch them.


Olive Grove Guesthouse

Olive Grove Guesthouse is a peaceful paradise, just a short distance from the city centre of Windhoek. Its interiors emanate simple, classic beauty, with elegant Moroccan embellishments and luxury touches. Olive Grove provides a spacious veranda in most of the front rooms and comfy chairs by the fireplace inside the lounge. For outdoor relaxation, guests can recline in one of the sun loungers that overlook the pool and garden.
