About Megève

Megève is an exceptionally chic resort with an abundance of fine dining options both on and off the mountain which has attracted the rich and famous since the 1920s. The village itself has kept its medieval and rustic feel with cobbled streets, horse-drawn sleighs and a 13th-century church tower. The resort’s core is a beautiful, traffic-free historic centre which is now bordered by a bustling village.

Megève is part of the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area. It is ideal for beginner to intermediate skiers as the mountain offers miles of well-groomed pistes, perfect for easy cruising and more challenging red runs. For those who like exploring, you can ski in a different zone every day and find something new. Serious free-riders can head to Chamonix or enjoy the scenic tree-lined off-piste that Megève has to offer.

Megève is famous for its variety of fine dining, with an impressive number of Michelin-starred restaurants calling it home. For those looking for the legendary French après experience, La Folie Douce at the top of the Mont Joux ski lift hosts its classic après parties every afternoon.
