About Ischgl
Located amidst the breathtaking Silvretta Alps in Western Tyrol, Ischgl stands as a renowned winter paradise, offering a sublime fusion of exhilarating cross-border skiing, a world-class lift system and a legendary après-ski scene. Thanks to the resort’s impressive elevation of nearly 3,000 metres, this alpine gem boasts an extended ski season that guarantees snow from the early days of November to the beginning of May.
The skiing is high above the town and reachable by 42 state-of-the-art cable cars and lifts. Offering a network of well-groomed, wide pistes covering a staggering 239 km, Ischgl presents the ideal playground for intermediates to explore the slopes.
For those seeking an off-piste adventure, the Piza Val Gronda lift serves as a gateway to some of the finest untouched powder and thrilling tracks. One of the most iconic experiences Ischgl has to offer is the famous ‘Duty-Free’ run, an 8 km descent leading down to the neighbouring resort of Samnaun in Switzerland. Not only is it a thrilling ride, but it also grants skiers the unique experience of a cross-border escapade.
Ischgl hosts a range of accommodations from charming village lodgings to mountain-side ski-in and ski-out luxury hotels. The village’s pedestrian-friendly main street allows visitors to explore the plethora of bars, restaurants and boutique shops. Après starts with happy hour in the slope-side bars and drifts down to the village into the early hours, where legendary venues such as Kuhstall, Trofana Alm and Schatzi Bar become stages for unforgettable DJ and live music performances.
