Introduction

Among the many beautiful regions of Italy, Sardinia stands out as one with a distinct sense of identity, both culturally and historically. The island even has its own language. Stringent building development restrictions have helped this island retain its rural heritage and while visitors often come for the crystalline waters, sandy beaches and coves, there’s plenty more to see beyond the pretty coastline. In this suggested itinerary, we are celebrating family experiences, taking you to one of Europe’s finest family resorts to relax and adventure together. From exceptional kids’ clubs to tailored family activities, everything is set in place to ensure you enjoy a luxurious, and seamless, getaway in the sun.

Trip Overview

Depart from Dublin to Sardinia.

Upon arrival in Cagliari, your private driver will transfer you to your luxury family resort along the coast of Santa Margherita di Pula. We’ve arranged a seven night stay, giving you plenty of time to explore the sprawling resort’s luxury facilities, clubs and academies.

Relax on the spectacular private estate which spans acres of centuries-old pine forest in Southern Sardinia.

Whilst the children build their sandcastles and play in the shallow waters, enjoy beautiful views over the sea, coloured with multiple shades of green and blue.

Pool at Forte Village Resort
The resort is a true children's wonderland.

With a secret garden; miniature town square with tiny houses, a grocery store and fire station and a wonderlab where objects are created from ceramics, origami and Velcro; this really is a magical land. There is also a dedicated corner of the resort where you’ll find a go-kart track, ten-pin bowling lanes and a disco. For older children, there’s the U-Club teens’ club and sports academy.

Children's Wonderland, Forte Village
Indulge in treatments at one of Europe’s top spas.

While the rest of your family spend the day enjoying scheduled activities, you can enjoy some peaceful relaxation time. From Ayurvedic massages to garden yoga, enjoy a peaceful and quiet break in the resort.

Aquaforte Spa, Forte Village Resort
The food will be a particular highlight throughout your stay.

Dine in a marvellous selection of restaurants within the expansive grounds. Many of the restaurants are run by Michelin-starred chefs.
