Trip Overview

Depart from Dublin to Pula.

You will be met on arrival and privately transferred to a city centre hotel where you will spend the next seven nights. Settle into your spacious accommodation before enjoying a refreshing cocktail at one of Ljubljana’s rooftop terraces.

Begin your Slovenian exploration with a private tour of the city.

Take the funicular train up to the famous medieval castle and feast your eyes on the incredible views over the city. Your guide will take you to beautiful landmarks such as Preseren Square and the famous Dragon Bridge.

A visit to Slovenia is incomplete without seeing Lake Bled.

With your private guide, enjoy the whimsical scenery of Bled. Sail across the still water in a traditional wooden pletna boat and visit the central islet. Then, head to Bohinj, an idyllic alpine valley where you will enjoy a cheese tasting in an alpine cottage.

Take a trip to Skocjan Caves, experiencing the subterranean magic of this natural curiosity.

A dramatic maze of stalagmites and stalactites, the caves are incredible to witness. Then it’s time to visit Vipava Valley. Enjoy a food and wine pairing in a local restaurant and get to know the culinary heritage of the area.

Gorizia is a famous wine region where the Mediterranean and Alpine climates create a unique blend.
