Trip Overview

Depart from Dublin to San José.

Spend a night rejuvenating in the city after your journey before leaving for Tortuguero where you’ll spend three nights on the riverbank. Fill your days with explorations of the river and its wildlife on night-time excursions, kayaking activities and boat tours.

Spend two nights in Arenal National Park.

We’ve arranged a hiking tour of Arenal Volcano’s verdant rainforest, crossing over a lava flow from 1968 and admiring caves, sky-blue waterfalls, lava rock formations and the exotic birdlife.

Discover Monteverde on sky-high excursions.

Your home for four nights, hop in an open-air gondola, take exhilarating zipline circuits through the forests and pay a visit to Selvatura Adventure Park’s Sloth Sanctuary, Hummingbird Garden and Amphibian Exhibition.
