It’s time to get to know Bogota with your private guide.

This tour takes you on a journey through time from Bogota’s colonial era to modern day urban life. Starting at the buzzing Paloquemao market, you’ll see Colombia’s array of fruit and vegetables. Enjoy an exhilarating cable car ride to Monserrate Hill, which offers spectacular views of the metropolis. You’ll continue to La Candelaria, the historic quarter, and to Bogota’s oldest church, the Iglesia de San Francisco.

Next, privately transfer to Villa de Leyva.

Along the way, you’ll visit the ancient battlefields of “Boyacá Bridge”, one of Colombia’s most relevant historic sites. On arrival in Villa de Leyva, you’ll see why it’s called one of the Colombia’s most beautiful colonial towns. You’ll overnight in a handpicked property.

Villa de Leyva, Colombia
Transfer to the airport and depart for the Coffee Triangle, Armenia.

You’ll be transferred to your accommodation where you’ll spend the next three nights. Colombia is famous for its coffee and during your stay, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the plantations to learn all about the coffee growing process.

Enjoy a guided visit to a coffee farm.

Walk through the coffee plantations, visit the farm facilities and try different methods of coffee preparation. You’ll also enjoy a cacao tour in the plantation, which consists of 180 hectares of cocoa. See the wax palms, explore the cloud forest and discover numerous bird species. Enjoy a coffee (or three!) in a café in a quaint coffee town on the way back.

Next, transfer back to the airport and fly to Cartagena de Indias.

Here, colonial chic meets Caribbean flair, old city walls and fortresses bear witness to gold treasures and green plazas and colourfully painted facades will carry you away into the novels of Gabriel Garcia Marquez. You’ll spend the next three nights in a handpicked property.

Cartagena, Colombia
Enjoy a guided city tour of Cartagena, San Felipe & La Popa.

Visit the sights of Cartagena at the convent of La Popa and the Fort of San Felipe de Barajas, the biggest military construction ever built by the Spanish in their colonies. Witness this masterpiece of military architecture in coral stone and get a good idea about the defence strategy of the city in front of pirate attacks in the 17th and 18th century.
