Six Senses Gangtey

Encounter incredible birdlife at the Six Senses Gangtey, which is renowned as a famous birdwatching spot. Located deep in the Phobjikha valley and surrounded by bamboo forest, the minimalist property is a tranquil and remote retreat. The building has been constructed using granite and the interiors are almost entirely lined with wood panelling, giving the property a cabin-like feeling. Sitting at 9,843 feet, the area is the winter home of the endangered black-necked crane, owing to its nickname, ‘traditional birdwatching bridge’.
