Samode Haveli
Once the royal family manor, Samode Haveli is a boutique hotel rich in history. It is elaborately decorated throughout with mirror-tiled hallways, marble swimming pools and rich mosaics. This 300-year-old townhouse has a labyrinth of courtyards, two swimming pools and landscaped gardens. Furthermore, it houses a gym, sauna, steam room and day spa. The former royal apartments have been converted into deluxe rooms and suites and balconies and private courtyards overlook the pool and gardens. The elephant ramp that was constructed in the 1940s for a family wedding remains.
