Ishasha Wilderness Camp
Ishasha Wilderness Camp is located within the Queen Elizabeth National Park, making it the perfect base for an exciting safari in the remote wilderness of the African bush. The camp overlooks the Ntungwe River and is surrounded by giant fig trees, where lions are often seen resting within the larger branches. There are ten tented chalets on the camp, and each has its own private veranda with river views, perfect for relaxing with a book and a glass of wine. Wildlife roam freely within the park and many species often pass through the camp. Elephants stop by the river frequently, buffalo can be spotted grazing nearby and lucky guests might even spot George, a lone hippo who has taken up residence close to the camp.
