Luxury Holidays to Andalucia

There is no better way to discover Spain’s rich cultural heritage than on luxury Andalucía holidays. This sun-drenched region of southern Spain is rich with distinctive art, seaside bliss and quintessential Spanish flair. One of its main draws is the traces of Moorish rule that have shaped the architecture of its historic cities. Discover mighty palaces and alcázars, like the iconic fortress of Alhambra in the old Moorish capital of Granada. Continue to appreciate Andalucía’s natural beauty as you journey from the rural farmlands of Montecorto to the blossoming orange orchards of Seville. Wherever you choose to experience your luxury holidays in Andalucía, whether on the coast or in the Moorish cities, experience traditional flamenco dance in the very place it began.

At OROKO we love the vibrant culture and rich heritage of Andalucía. Throughout the years, we’ve established long-standing partnerships with the best luxury hotels and resorts in the region. POCKET GUIDE TO LUXURY ANDALUCIA HOLIDAYS

Best time to visit

The best time to embark on a luxury holiday to Andalucía is between April and October, when temperatures range between 16˚C – 35˚C. Depending on what type of holiday you want, some months will be better than others. April – June and September – October are ideal for city breaks and sightseeing whilst July and August are best for beach holidays. Events worth checking out include Seville’s flamenco-themed April Fair.

Andalucía as part of a Spain holiday

Luxury Andalucía holidays are perfectly combinable with Granada, Seville and Marbella on a luxury self-drive holiday. Start your road trip in Granada, where you will visit the iconic Alhambra palace, which is a treasure trove of Moorish architecture. Transfer to Seville where you will spend three nights. Explore the historic city, taking in the majestic Mudéjar palaces, baroque churches, and narrow cobblestone lanes. En route to Marbella, stop off in Jerez de la Frontera, where you will embark on a guided tour of the cathedral, Alcázar and Old Town, and enjoy a performance at the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art. Conclude your trip with a four-night stay in a beachside resort in Marbella. Whilst there, enjoy a horse-riding excursion with a family of winemakers in Ronda.
