Ultra-modern Dubai pairs wonderfully with Thailand’s time-honoured culture and beach beauty in this suggested itinerary that takes advantage of the excellent value found in Thailand during Ireland’s summer. OROKO Travel Specialist, Delwyn, notes: “People sort of rule Thailand out for summer, but it’s a real winner, and you can get some very high standard accommodation for a lot less than what you would pay in Europe.”
What we have to say
After a luxurious stay in Dubai, Bangkok, a favourite of Delwyn’s, awaits with excellent shopping, cultural experiences and moreish street food; “Whether you like to shop till you drop or visit the grand palaces and the temples across the city, Bangkok has something for everyone. You can see the local way of life – going to the outskirts of the city and taking a long-tail boat up the canal-ways to visit some of the floating markets or the famous railway market where they move all of their stalls to let the train pass. You’ve got the flower market area of Bangkok which is just amazing to see – these amazing tropical flowers that are all set out along the road in the evening by the Koh San Road area, and the smell is just incredible. That’s teamed up with the street food that’s happening nearby.”
We love: The great value found in Thailand during the Irish summer.
