POCKET GUIDE TO COSTA BRAVA HOLIDAYS

Best time to visit

May to October is the best time to embark on Costa Brava luxury holidays. Enjoying a Mediterranean climate, temperatures range between 14˚C – 28˚C. Stretching from the rugged cliffs of France to Catalonia’s ornamental metropolis of Barcelona, the Costa Brava is undoubtedly Spain’s most beautiful coastline and a paradise for beach and nature lovers. From exciting outdoor activities to days relaxing on the beach and exploring charming cities, you won’t be short of things to do on your luxury holiday.

Costa Brava as part of a Spain holiday

One of the best ways to experience a luxury holiday to the Costa Brava is to embark on a luxury self-drive holiday from Barcelona to Girona and Cadaques. Starting in Barcelona, enjoy a private gastronomic tour through the city’s charming Gothic Quarter, sampling the local tapas and exploring the myriad of churches, plazas and historical monuments. Then it is time to collect your car and set off for Girona. During your three-night stay in this historic city, explore its iconic architecture including the Girona Cathedral and Eiffel Bridge, stroll along the cobblestone lanes of the Jewish Quarter and enjoy a private cooking masterclass with chef Pilar Latorre. The final stop on your road trip is the picturesque town of Cadaques, for some beachside relaxation. Whilst there you will have the opportunity to visit the Salvador Dali House Museum, a must-visit for art lovers.
