Trip Overview

Depart from Dublin to Kilimanjaro.

You’ll be met on arrival and privately transferred to Arusha where you will spend your first night.

Relax at a cosy coffee lodge and settle into your trip.

To begin with, allow us to arrange a guided tour of the coffee plantation. Learn about the history of coffee production and sample some of the best local offerings.

Coffee beans
The following day, take a private transfer to Ngorongoro.

Along the way, stop off in Arusha National Park for a morning of game watching. Embark on an exciting canoe safari on Momella lake where you will come face to face with buffalo, giraffes, bushbucks and waterbucks.

Zebras and lion, Ngorongoro
Arrive in Ngorongoro and check into a luxurious guesthouse.

The colonial style farmhouse provides a beautifully relaxing spot from which you can enjoy exploring the surrounding area. You will spend two nights here.

Ngorongoro Crater Lodge
Allow us to arrange a private safari through Ngrongoro Crater.

Home to the “big 5”, massive herds of game migrate through the area each year. This is a fantastic starter safari with plenty of game viewing opportunities and absolutely breathtaking scenery.

Ngorongoro Crater
Privately transfer to Serengeti and arrive at a specially selected safari camp.

You will spend two nights here in the southern Serengeti enjoying two game drives each day. Delve deep into the bush with highly trained park rangers who will help you spot the “big five” as well as rarer, harder to find species.

Serengeti National Park
After taking in the stunning plains of the Serengeti, it is time to depart for Zanzibar.

You’ll be privately transferred to a luxurious Stone Town hotel. Make the most of the property’s beachfront location with a cooling dip in the ocean or simply take in the views from the infinity pool.

Zanzibar beach
Allow us to arrange a private tour of Stone Town.

As the light begins to fade, your guide will take you on an ambient stroll through the streets of the town. You will see the beautiful Forodhani Gardens, where a night market is often held and the Darajani Bazaar, where you can browse spices, fresh produce and locally crafted souvenirs.

Market in Stone Town, Zanzibar
No trip to the spice islands is complete without visiting a local spice farm.

Learn about the most traditional and popular spices that are locally grown and meet the locals who farm the land. This tour will captivate all of your senses as you take in the scenery, listen to the history of the trade, whilst picking, smelling and tasting the different spices

Nutmeg
Its time to head to the beach!

The final stop on your journey is Pemba, a beautiful island known for its green hills, gorgeous beaches and clove plantations. You will spend four nights in this island paradise.

Pemba Island, Zanzibar
Completely unwind at a barefoot luxury retreat.

Enjoy incredible snorkelling in the tropical waters, canoeing safaris around the coast and even treks into the local village during your stay.

Giant Coral Fan
Take a short boat ride back to Zanzibar and transfer to the airport.

It is time to return home. Arrive in Dublin.

What people are saying

OROKO created the honeymoon of our dreams in South Africa. The consultation process was very laid-back and conversational. The whole process overall was really quite quick and smooth. There was no trawling through the internet for hours late at night, weighing up costs and reviews of hotels and transfer companies etc – it was all done for us based on the OROKO travel experts’ experiences – which we found to be absolutely spot on. Choosing a ‘luxury travel’ company was a little daunting: We wanted a special honeymoon without spending silly money – and OROKO worked very well with this brief. Believe me when I say our accommodation could not have been more perfect for us. It really was the holiday of our dreams.
