Trip Overview

Depart from Dublin to Delhi, in the country’s north.

Your private driver will be waiting to transfer you to your luxury hotel in New Delhi, where you will spend two nights.

Discover Old and New Delhi on a guided private tour.

Take a rickshaw ride through the narrow winding streets of colourful Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest markets in New Delhi. You’ll visit beautiful landmarks like the Red Fort, India Gate, Presidential Palace, Qutab Minar and Humayun’s Tombs.

Depart for Jabalpur and transfer to Bandhavgarh, the home of the royal Bengal tiger.

Spend two nights in the former hunting preserve of the Maharaja of Rewa. We’ll take you on a guided walk through Tala Village, home to humble mud dwellings and traditional scenes of countryside life.

Embark on twice-daily game drives in Bandhavgarh, home to the highest density of tigers in the world.

The filming location of David Attenborough’s Dynasties, Bandhavgarh has a good population of royal Bengal tigers as well as sloth bears, leopard, elephants and wild boar.

Transfer to Kanha Tiger Reserve.

During your three night stay, embark on twice-daily game drives, searching for the wildlife that inspired Kipling’s depictions in the beloved children’s story. Bird enthusiasts will be rewarded with a variety of exotic birds like scarlet minivets and Indian rollers.

Transfer to Pench National Park. Spend three nights embarking on twice daily games drives.

Not only is the park a sanctuary to the Bengal tiger, sloth and Indian wolf, but it is also home to elusive species like the endangered Indian wild dog, striped hyena, Indian leopard and jackal.

Transfer to Nagpur and depart for the modern city of Mumbai.

Spend three nights in a luxury hotel and enjoy a guided tour of the city, visiting landmarks like Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Dhobi Ghat and Mani Bhavan, which was Gandhi’s former home.
