The Explorers kids club is based in two separate, specially designed areas. Children from 4 months to 4 years have a dedicated space in the main hotel, whilst children between 5 and 11 are seconds from the beach.

The Westin Resort, Costa Navarino

The Westin Resort Costa Navarino is ideal for family getaways. It is a magnificent 5-star hotel located in an exceptional setting. Families will find countless ways to explore and play; two innovative children hubs, the Aqua Park, an indoor sports arena for basketball/volleyball, speed experience park, the 1.5 km-long sandy The Dunes Beach, as well as a wide variety of sports and activities. The resort also has two multi-awarded signature golf courses with a Golf Academy. This is a resort designed for children.

Pine Cliffs Resort, Algarve

Ideally located on the coast, lies Pine Cliffs, one of Portugal’s finest five-star holiday resorts. This sprawling resort with fantastic facilities effortlessly creates a magical atmosphere that is firmly family friendly. The full throttle children’s village is one of the best in Portugal with a playground shaded by towering palms, small go-kart track, two giant wooden pirate ships, swimming pool and 18 hole mini-golf course. For older children, there is a games room located next to the Corda Café and the Mimo Cooking school. (The games room is being re-located to another part of the resort ahead of this year’s summer season) From our experience, the Ocean Suites, Pine Cliffs Gardens and private villas are excellent options for families.

The Residences at Sun Gardens really tick all the boxes for families. The accommodation comes with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge area, and guests can choose between one or two bedroom residences.
