About Megève

Megève is an exceptionally chic resort with an abundance of fine dining options on and off the mountain, that has attracted the rich and famous since the 1920s. The village itself has kept its medieval and rustic feel with cobbled streets, horse-drawn sleighs and a 13th-century church tower. The resort’s core is a beautiful, traffic-free medieval centre which is now bordered by sprawling suburbs.

The resort is ideal for beginner to intermediate skiers as the mountain offers miles of well-groomed pistes, perfect for easy cruising. For those who like exploring, you can ski a different zone every day and find something new. Serious free riders can head to Chamonix or enjoy the scenic tree-lined off-piste that Megève has to offer.

Megève is famous for its variety of fine dining with a total of 6 Michelin starred restaurants and chefs, for a combined 10 stars within the resort. For those looking for the legendary French après experience, La Folie Douce at the top of the Mont Joux ski lift hosts its classic après parties every afternoon.
