Trip Overview

Depart from Dublin to Moscow.

Upon arrival in Moscow, your private driver will be waiting to transfer you to your luxury central hotel where you’ll enjoy a two-night stay. Take some time to explore the area or perhaps catch up on some relaxation at the luxury spa.

Get to know Moscow.

Marvel at the interiors of the domed wonder that is St Basil’s Cathedral. With your guide, venture to the Sparrow Hills for a panoramic city view before paying visits to landmarks like the Red Square and Bolshoi Theatre, the home of Russian ballet and opera.

It’s time to board the Trans-Siberian Express Railway.

Step aboard the carriages and settle into your cabin for your overnight rail journey, watching as the world’s largest country go by just outside your window. Pay a visit to the dining car or on longer platform stops, hop off to find home-baked delights sold by babushkas.

Arrive in Ekaterinburg.

Privately transfer to your hotel where you’ll spend the night. Then, set out on a guided tour of Ekaterinburg’s historic landmarks. Most famous for being the location where Czar Nicholas II and his family were killed in 1918, the city is rich in history spanning across the centuries.

Depart for Lake Baikal.

Your driver will be waiting to transfer you to the station for your journey east across Siberia. Spend three days on the Trans-Siberian train, riding the rails to Irkutsk towards Lake Baikal. Watch as the most remote and mysterious Siberia unfolds before you.

Arrive in Irkutsk.

Relax in your luxurious overnight hotel before exploring the Siberian capital and the home of the indigenous Buryat people on a guided tour. Stroll through the neighbourhood of intricate wooden houses before paying a visit to one of the oldest monasteries in Siberia, Znamensky Monastery.

Take in the beauty of lovely Lake Baikal.

Spend the night in a hotel by the UNESCO-listed “Sacred Sea”, the most ancient lake in the world. Explore the lake-side village of Listvyanka before taking to the lake on a cruise, marvelling at the crystal-clear waters before returning to Irkutsk to continue your exploration.

Depart for Ulan Ude.

Take in the glorious views as you journey along the one of the most scenic stretches of the Trans-Siberian route. Packed with stunning attractions, discover the Buryat capital of Ulan Ude on a guided tour during your two night stay.

Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
