In this suggested itinerary, you’ll spend ten days exploring this fascinating part of the world. You will have guided experiences throughout so that you can witness the real Morocco. Enjoy guided historical tours including Majorelle Garden, YSL Museum, a sunset tasting trail and evening storytelling with cocktails in Marrakech. Experience a Farm to Table cooking class, go camel riding in desert and hiking in the High Atlas Mountains. This is a great itinerary for couples who are interested in both culture and history.

Depart from Dublin and arrive in Marrakech.
Your driver will be waiting to take you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the next three nights in a beautiful handpicked property. Marrakech is not only one of Morocco’s most aesthetic cities, but also one of its most lively and exciting.
In the evening, enjoy a private food and cultural experience with an expert foodie guide.
Dine with the locals while sampling regional specialities at the most popular food stalls in the market while soaking up the night-time ambience in Jamaa el-Fna square. Once you have had the opportunity to try the various street foods, you will have the opportunity to then take over a local restaurant close to the Jma El Fna and re-create what you’ve tried enroute.

Transfer to the outskirts of Marrakech for a cooking class that takes place in the Amizmiz Valley, populated by Berbers. Your professional chef and tutor will teach you how to utilise herbs and spices as well as prepare a typical Moroccan meal, including bread-making Moroccan style!

Taroudant is in the 11th century the capital of a small Berber kingdom in the south of Morocco. Annexed by the Almoravids in 1056, under whom it remained autonomous, it was destroyed in 1306 by the Merinids. You will spend the next two nights here. Depart Taroudant and head to the Zagora via the outskirts of the Draa Valley. The Draa Valley is a stunning oasis home to Berber villages, sumptuous Kasbahs, streaming sand dunes, lush green plains, snow-capped Atlas Mountains. Arriving in Zagora, enjoy the views from your luxury hotel where you’ll spend overnight.

Enjoy an adventurous 4x4 ride into the heart of the desert where you can take solace in the tranquillity and the amazing landscape of the desert. Sunrise and sunset are when the dunes are most seductive, the immense skies and the vast stretch of desert highlighted by the setting or rising sun is truly magical.

La Villa des Orangers

Hotel Villa des Orangers is a luxurious riad property, built in a former palace complex just outside of the medina walls of Marrakech. Rooms are divided between two elegant mansions and the pool is set beneath the orange trees and within the landscaped courtyard.
