Throughout this itinerary, you will be staying in comfort in authentic Moroccan accommodation in Tangier, Chefchaouen, Fez, Rabat and Casablanca. This is an excellent itinerary for those who like to keep active as you will enjoy hiking adventures in Akshour waterfalls as well as the Zalagh Mountains. You will have a private guide throughout your trip who will take you on unique tours of Tangier and the hidden souks as well as exploring ancient Roman ruins and wine tastings in a local winery. Trip Overview

Your driver will be waiting to take you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the next night in a beautiful handpicked property. A great city to wander around, meander over the art deco architecture, explore the Casbah and relax with a cocktail in hand, taking in the sunset overlooking the straits of Gibraltar.
Enjoy a privately guided tour of Tangier.
With your guide, you’ll explore the Moroccan port city of Tangier and its surrounding countryside. You will discover many of the landmark locations in downtown Tangier, that includes Avenue Mohammed V, the Caves of Hercules, and many more of the most popular local attractions. Along the way, visit medina (old town) and the Kasbah (old fortress) where you can explore its rich architecture.

In the afternoon, privately transfer to the blue city, Chefchaouen.
Your driver will transport you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the next two nights.

Journey towards Akchour waterfalls to enjoy the stunning landscape and waterfalls.
With your guide, discover the stunning waterfall oasis of aqua green and turquoise water waiting at the end of the hike. The waterfalls are so high, you have to take a panoramic shot from the ground up to fit it all in.

The next stop on your adventure is Fez.
You’ll spend the next three nights in a handpicked, authentic Moroccan property. Your guide will be taking you on a number of interesting tours and excursions during your time here.
Fez Tanneries
Visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis on a guided tour.
Find beautiful mosaic floors in Volubilis, uncovered and brought back to life by the archaeologists that still work on this partly excavated site. It was developed from the 3rd century BC onwards as a Phoenician and later a Carthaginian settlement. Lunch today is in a private farm close to Volubilis.

Following lunch, head to the region of Meknes for a winery tour.
Meknes is one of the Imperial cities and once the capital of Morocco under the rule of Moulay Ismail, it has a wonderful charm and style, with beautiful gates, palaces and mosques, all enhanced by the beauty of the surrounding countryside. Taste and sample delicious local wines and learn about the winery on your tour.

This morning, enjoy a guided tour of Fez showcasing the alluring charm of the medina.
Gain access to ancient palaces and Islamic gardens, venture into the depths of the tanneries, observe weavers at their loom and discover hidden workshops where generations of artisans ply their trades and adapt century-old techniques to a modern market.

With your foodie expert, discover the secrets of Morocco cuisine on a street food tour.
Start by exploring the fresh food souks, then visit the honey souk to taste an array of delicious honey, the spice El Attarryia and the henna souk. Try traditional Moroccan foods including dried meats, milawi, and fresh goat cheese, finishing off with a visit to a traditional Moroccan tea house.

It’s time to head off on your hiking adventure in Mount Zalaghs’ peaks.

Rabat is the government Capital of Morocco and home to the Royal family. This city is the result of a new town built under the French Protectorate from 1912-1930s which meticulously guarded the older parts of the city dating back to the 12th Century. Visit the Chellah, spectacular Andalusia gardens of the Oudaya Kasbah, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, Hassan Tower, and Rabat Archaeological Museum.

Your guide will take you on a privately guided tour of this city on the way. Casablanca is the base of the only religious site open to non-Muslims The Hassan II Mosque, which is the argest mosque in Morocco and seventh largest mosque in the world.
