Starting in the historic capital of Athens, enjoy the wealth of guided experiences before crossing the Saronic Gulf for a tranquil island stay in Spetses. Undiscovered by many, spend four nights cycling through the pine-covered forest roads, enjoying lazy beach days, incredible sunsets and traditional island life.

Trip Overview

Depart from Dublin to Athens.

Your private driver will be waiting to transfer you to your luxury hotel in Athens, where you will spend three nights. Start relaxing by the rooftop pool and enjoy contemporary Greek cuisine at one of our recommended restaurants.

We’ll introduce you to Athens’ finest historical sites.

On a privately guided walking tour, you’ll visit archaeological wonders like the Acropolis, Parthenon and Temple of Olympian Zeus. Continue to explore the historic neighbourhood of Plaka, home to charming boutiques, tavernas and cafés.

Enjoy a traditional private wine tasting and Greek meze dinner.

Enjoy a private dining experience in a local ouzo bar and sample some of Greece’s best reds and whites. Sit down for a flavourful meze tasting, sharing plates of tzatziki, dolmades, feta, kefta and flatbread.

Transfer by hydrofoil to the island of Spetses.

We’ve arranged a four night stay in a luxury property on one of Greece’s lesser explored islands, where you’ll enjoy strolling in the car-free destination’s charming town, surrounding pine forests and secluded beaches.

Rent a bicycle from the hotel and cycle under pine trees and down the coastal roads.

Along the way, stop for a delicious picnic lunch followed by a relaxing afternoon on the beach, staying to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the Argosaronic Gulf. Alternatively, you can explore the surroundings on a horse riding excursion.
