Introduction

Borneo is home to some of the world’s rarest and most endangered wildlife species, lush rainforests, and incredible landscapes. On this suggested itinerary, start in a luxurious rainforest resort before experiencing Borneo’s unique natural wonders as you trek through nature trails and along rainforest boardwalks to spot rare proboscis monkeys, macaques and orangutans swinging playfully in the treetops. Cruise along the Kinabatangan and Menanggul River, witnessing the glowing fireflies, and for the perfect final stop, laze on the beaches of Gaya Island.
