Boudhanath Stupa is one of the most imposing landmarks of Kathmandu and is a centre of Tibetan Buddhism. With the help of your guide, you will light butter lamps which are one of the most powerful offerings you can give to a deity.

Boudhanath
After touring the stupa, visit the magnificent temple of Pashupatinath.

Set on the banks of the Bagmati River, the pagoda style temple is the most sacred of all Lord Shiva temples.

Pashupatinath
Take to the skies for a helicopter tour around Mount Everest.

Allow us to arrange a thrilling ride which will take you up the valleys of the Khumbu region and to Everest. Savour the breathtaking view of Mount Everest and the other magnificent majestic peaks that surround it from a unique vantage point.

Later on, visit the famous Monkey Temple.

Also known as Swayambhunath Stupa, this temple is an ancient Buddhist shrine which has incredible, panoramic views of the city. The temple is so beautiful; it is said that the glory of Kathmandu began at this site.

Fly to Kathmandu and privately transfer to Dhulikhel for some well-deserved relaxation.

Spend two nights at an eco-luxury resort relaxing in the Himalayan salt room, indulging in chakra sound therapy or wandering through the beautiful gardens.

Wellness retreat
En route to Dhulikhel, stop at Bhaktapur, a famous UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Bhaktapur is a beautiful city with brick roads, traditional cottages and an old-fashioned way of life. Full of temples, monuments and historic sites, the city has remained largely untouched by urbanization and oozes culture and charm.

Bhaktapur
Fly to Paro and privately transfer to Bhutan’s capital city, Thimphu.

Spend two nights at a relaxing hotel located just outside of the city. Unwind each evening in the peace and quiet of the forest, the perfect antidote to a busy day of sightseeing.

Thimphu

Buddha Point is not to be missed.

The Buddha Dordenma is located atop a hill in Kuenselphodrang Nature Park and overlooks the Southern entrance to Thimphu Valley. The statue fulfils an ancient prophecy dating back to the 8th century and is said to emanate an aura of peace and happiness to the entire world.

Buddha Point
Hike north of Thimphu through shaded rhododendron forests to Tango Monastery.

Visit the fascinating three storey towered building which has existed since the 15th century. You’ll have the chance to interact with the monks that live here today and learn more about their peaceful way of life.

Dochu-la pass
Hike to the four storey temple of Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten.

Trek through the rice fields to reach this incredible piece of Bhutanese architecture. The temple is dedicated to the wellbeing of the kingdom and it took nine years to build.
