Celebrating the Highlights of our 2024 Events

The final days of 2024 are upon us and as the year comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the incredible events that made this year so special. From exclusive evenings dedicated to luxury cruises and the thrill of safari to the allure of Scandinavian escapes, each event highlighted the very essence of travel—to connect, explore and dream big.

Join us as we revisit the events that defined this extraordinary year. 

Our final event of 2024 was a magical evening held in November at the OROKO office. The space was transformed into a festive haven, glowing with candles and twinkling lights. 

• Special Guests: Nanna Blaabjerg (Your Scandinavian Partner) and Alan Sparling (ASM) shared insider tips and itineraries for summer and winter escapes to Scandinavia. 
• Highlights: Guests savoured bubbly and canapés while exchanging travel stories and meeting our Scandinavian partners. 
• Takeaway: Guests left with insider tips, luxury goodie bags and a renewed sense of inspiration for their next adventure. 

In April, luxury cruising took centre stage at the OROKO office during an event in collaboration with Ponant. 

• Special Guest: Danny Giles (Ponant Sales Manager) and Brendan Breen (Managing Director, OROKO Travel) guided attendees through the endless possibilities of luxury cruises. 
• Highlights: Guests sipped fine wine while discovering Ponant’s unique offerings.
• Takeaway: Guests left with exclusive discounts, providing the perfect opportunity to turn their luxury cruise dreams into reality.  

Over the summer, we partnered with Defender at Spirit Jaguar Land Rover in Sandyford for an evening dedicated to African safaris. 

• Special Guest: Annabel Ellis (Wilderness Brand Ambassador) offered insights into Botswana’s conservation model, sharing her personal experiences living and working in Africa’s wilderness.
• Highlights: Our largest event of the year, guests were inspired to plan their dream safari with the help of our experts and discover the legendary Land Rover Defender. 
• Takeaway: The evening was a resounding success, leaving guests with newfound knowledge about our top safari destinations.

October brought an evening of luxury cruise inspiration at the OROKO office. 

• Special Guests: Pierre Thomas (Silversea’s Expedition Leader) shared tales from 30+ years of exploring remote destinations, while Brian Hynes (Uniworld) showcased river cruise itineraries to places like India, Peru and The Mekong. 
• Highlights: Guests enjoyed expert insights from industry leaders, paired with gourmet canapés and fine wine, creating the perfect atmosphere for sharing travel stories and inspiration. 
• Takeaway: The evening inspired meaningful connections and left attendees ready to embark on their next luxurious journey.
