Megève is one of our favourite resorts for younger families, first-time skiers and intermediates looking for a refined winter escape. While the skiing is enjoyable, it is the village itself that sets Megève apart — beautiful hotels, outstanding restaurants and an atmosphere that encourages you to slow down. We recommend travelling during February mid-term, when snow conditions are typically at their most reliable and the resort is at its finest.
