POCKET GUIDE TO HOLIDAYS TO TUSCANY

Best time to visit

Although a year-round destination, the best time to embark on luxury holidays to Tuscany is between April and October, when temperatures range between 17˚C – 31˚C. For nature enthusiasts, visit in mid-late Spring or early Autumn as this is when the landscape is at its most vibrant. These seasons are also the best time for sightseeing with pleasant temperatures and fewer crowds. The summer months of June to August are the ideal time for luxury family holidays to Tuscany.

Tuscany as part of an Italy holiday

A luxury holiday to Tuscany is perfectly combinable with the Italian Riviera for a romantic couples’ escape. Spend three days in Florence, embarking on a cycling tour of the city, taking in its iconic landmarks, and visiting the Accademia & Uffizi galleries. Then transfer to San Casciano, which is renowned for its wine and olive oil production, historical castles, and churches. Other highlights include exploring the village of Porto Venere, discovering the five tiny medieval villages of the Cinque Terre and hiking from Volastra to Manarola.
