Best time to visit

The months of May to October are the best time to embark on luxury holidays to Barcelona. Enjoying a Mediterranean climate, temperatures range between 14˚C – 29˚C. If sightseeing is your main priority, visit during shoulder season (May, September, or October) as temperatures will be pleasant but not too hot and there will be fewer crowds. For sunseekers, June – August is the ideal time for a beach holiday. Exciting events AND festivals not to miss include the Feast of St Joan, Barcelona Pride, Barcelona Beach Festival and the European Balloon Festival.

Barcelona as part of a Spain holiday

One of the best ways to experience luxury holidays in Barcelona is to combine it with Mallorca for the ultimate luxury city and beach escape. You will also have the opportunity to embark on a privately guided chocolate origins tour at Barcelona’s Chocolate Museum. Then it is time to transfer to an exclusive resort in Mallorca for the remainder of your trip. Offering a range of luxury facilities including a Michelin-starred restaurant, two pools, luxurious spa and fully equipped kids’ club, there’s something to suit everyone.
