Trip Overview

Depart from Dublin to Kuala Lumpur.

On arrival, you will be greeted by your driver and privately transferred to your chic hotel in central Kuala Lumpur where you’ll spend three nights.

Take an urban cycling adventure on a traditional Orange Dutch Bicycle.

The bicycle is the ideal means to discover the real Kuala Lumpur. Explore the hidden, authentic Kuala Lumpur, where a melting pot of points of interest, local markets, smells and, last but not least, the kindness of the local people is to be found.

Kuala Lumpur
Depart from Kuala Lumpur to Sandakan.

On arrival, your driver and guide will greet you and bring you to Sepilok Nature Reserve, just a short 30-minute drive away.

Sepilok Nature Reserve Myanmar
Enjoy an orangutan encounter at Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre.

Stand on the feeding platform as these playful primates swing down through the trees and greet you with a cheeky grin.

Orangutans Indonesia
Depart from Sandakan to Kinabatangan.

An experience in itself, you will first be transferred by road to Sandakan Jetty where you will then climb aboard a shared boat. As you travel upstream on the Kinabatangan River, discover the unusual flora and fauna that inhabit the river and surrounding wetlands. Arrive at your lodge for a two-night stay.

Elephant Kinabatangan
Journey deeper into the jungle as you arrive in the Danum Valley.

Arguably the densest part of Borneo’s rainforest, you will feel like you are in the middle of a Sir David Attenborough documentary. Spend two nights surrounded by the splendour of the rainforest before returning to civilisation.

Bird Kinabatangan
Transfer to Lahad Datu and fly to Kota Kinabalu.

Spend three nights lazing on one of our favourite tropical islands, Gaya Island, where barefoot luxury is epitomised.

Kota Kinabalu
Depart from Kota Kinabalu.

Arrive in Dublin.
