Introduction

Experience the sleepy backwaters, rolling hills and unexplored beaches of India’s mountain ranges and tropical Malabar Coast. Start in Cochin, exploring historic landmarks and the crumbling remains of the British Raj. Continue on a slow-paced journey through the verdant hills of the Western Ghats, trekking to historic tea estates and lunching in fragrant spice plantations. Lessen the pace even more, as you traverse the backwaters of Kerala and finish on the shores of the Arabian Sea. At OROKO, we are serious about sustainable tourism, so we’ve partnered with eco-friendly accommodation throughout this 13-night suggested itinerary.

Luxury bespoke services

At OROKO, we’ve been to India many times and have continuously returned to explore its chaotic cities, rural heartlands and remote mountain villages. It is a place that is extremely rewarding, but also a destination where specialist knowledge is vital. That is why all of our bespoke itineraries to India include luxury partner accommodation, expert English-speaking private guides, private drivers and pre-arranged train tickets in executive class carriages. Each one of our itineraries are bespoke and tailored to you, so think of this as just a sneak-peak of just how brilliant an OROKO holiday to India can be.
