Trip Overview

Depart from Dublin to the Atlantic Ocean port of Halifax.

Upon arrival, collect your pre-arranged rental car and drive to your luxury downtown hotel where you’ll spend two nights. Explore famed sites like the Maritime Museum, Halifax Waterfront and The Old Town Clock.

Set out on a guided coastal whale watching cruise.

Board your cruise from Halifax Harbour and embark on a whale watching cruise to Chebucto Head. In the company of expert naturalist guides, scan the waters for tell-tale signs of activity, hoping to spot humpbacks, blue whales and white-sided dolphins.

Take a scenic drive to the UNESCO Southwest Nova Biosphere Reserve.

We’ve arranged a three night stay in a luxurious experiential lodge surrounded by Nova Scotia’s wilderness. We’ll reserve a table at its celebrated restaurant, where you’ll sample innovative, sustainable cooking.

Revel in the undisturbed wilderness and partake in unique activities.

Enjoy stargazing, forest bathing, kayaking and fly-fishing. For relaxation, there is a wood-fired riverside hot tub, riverside cedar barrel sauna and a selection of floating docks and swimming platforms to lounge by.

Depart for St. John’s.

Leave your rental car at Halifax International Airport and take a short flight to St John’s. Upon arrival, pick up your rental car and drive to your nearby hotel where you’ll spend the next three nights.

Enjoy a guided historical tour of St John’s and Cape Spear.

Starting in Cape Spear, take a guided walk through a World War II gun battery, visit the oldest standing lighthouse in North America and look out for whales. Return to St John’s to explore local landmarks and admire views from Signal Hill.

Embark on a guided whale watching and wildlife cruise.

Sail through “The Narrows” and past Cabot Tower en route to Cape Spear. Have your camera at the ready, as these waters are home to the world’s largest concentration of humpbacks, 12,000-year-old icebergs and beautiful Atlantic puffins.

Set out on a scenic drive to Trinity in Newfoundland.

We’ve arranged a two night stay in a charming inn overlooking the peaceful shores of Trinity Bay. Spend your days exploring the heritage town and hike the Skerwink Trail, considered one of the most scenic trails in Eastern Canada.

Board the ferry to Fogo Island.

We’ve arranged a three night luxury stay in a contemporary cliffside property. Enjoy exceptional outdoor experiences like stargazing, marine encounters and nature hikes. At sunset, relax in the rooftop hot tub for romantic ocean vistas.

Transfer by ferry and car to Gander International Airport for your flight home.
