Trip Overview

Depart from Dublin to Kathmandu.

You will be met on arrival and transferred to your city centre hotel where you’ll spend two nights getting to know the city.

Discover Kathmandu’s most famous sights with a local guide.

Visit Durbar Square, the centre of town which is home to several temples. The historic square is a named UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards, take an exciting rickshaw ride honking your way through narrow alleys to the bustling bazaars of Ason. Sit back and relax as you navigate the city like a local.

The following day, explore some of the most famous spiritual landmarks in Kathmandu.

Boudhanath Stupa is one of the most imposing landmarks of Kathmandu and is a centre of Tibetan Buddhism. Here, with the help of your guide, you will light butter lamps, one of the most powerful offerings you can give to a deity.

After touring the stupa, visit the magnificent temple of Pashupatinath.

Set on the banks of the Bagmati River, the pagoda style temple is the most sacred of all Lord Shiva temples.

Next up is pristinely beautiful Pokhara.

Fly to the ‘jewel in the Himalayas’ and spend three nights in a luxurious hilltop resort. Relax in the spa and take in stunning views of the mountains.

Allow us to arrange a visit to The International Mountain Museum.

Dedicated to the mountains of Nepal and the mountaineers who have climbed them, the museum displays the history, culture, geology, flora and fauna of the Himalayas.

Spend a day hiking to Thulakot and enjoy stunning views of the Annapurna mountain range.

Begin the guided hike in Kaliksthan and trek steadily uphill through the diverse cultural villages and farmlands. Along the way, take in the incredible views of the Pokhara Valley.

Fly to Bharatpur for the next leg of your trip.

You will be met on arrival and privately transferred to a hand-selected safari-style resort on the outskirts of Chitwan National Park.

Begin your jungle safari adventure.

Spend two nights in the national park exploring the dense jungle landscape with experienced guides, which is home to rhino, tiger, leopard, various species of monkey and abundant birdlife. Observe these animals in their natural habitat with jungle walks, 4WD excursions, river safaris and elephant conservation centre visits.

Fly to Kathmandu and privately transfer to Dhulikhel for some well-deserved relaxation.

Spend two nights at an eco-luxury resort relaxing in the Himalayan salt room, indulging in chakra sound therapy or wandering through the beautiful gardens.

En route to Dhulikhel, stop at Bhaktapur, a famous UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Bhaktapur is a beautiful city with brick roads, traditional cottages and an old-fashioned way of life. Full of temples, monuments and historic sites, the city has remained largely untouched by urbanization and oozes culture and charm.

Return to Kathmandu for your flight home.
