St Anton is rated among the top five resorts in the Alps for very good reason: located in Austria’s Arlberg region, it is the biggest connected ski area in Austria. It is also one of Europe’s snowiest areas and boasts 340km of slopes, 200km of off-piste itineraries and plenty of challenging off-piste terrain. Being one of the best-known ski resorts in the world, St Anton certainly has gained its reputation for good reason. Famous for its après ski with something for everyone.
Bars such as the Mooserwirt and the Krazy Kanguruh for those wanting something lively, but other venues such as Heustadl and Griabli for those wanting a quiet (ish!) drink with some live music. There is a great selection of on-mountain restaurants across the whole ski area for a variety of budgets, all with bundles of Austrian charm.
Located within two to three hours' drive of three international airports and with a railway station at its heart, the resort is easy to reach.
