Introduction

When the summer sun melts away the ice and the freezing temperatures of Siberia’s bitter winter, a verdant paradise is unveiled. Warmer temperatures result in holiday-makers arriving at the glistening shores of Lake Baikal, surrounded by lush taiga forests. The mystical sensibilities of the fascinating towns and historic cities feel all the more magnificent under the warmth of the sun. Your suggested journey starts with a stop-over in Moscow where you will be guided around the onion-domed city before leaving for Ulan-Ude. Explore the city before boarding the carriages of the famous Trans-Siberian Railway. Admire the stunning vistas as you arrive at lovely Lake Baikal. Continue your exploration on Olkhon Island before your journey comes to an end with a final stay in Irkutsk. We have arranged a variety of tours and activities to ensure you to get to know the best of this spectacular thawed oasis.
