Introduction

A destination on the road less travelled, Mongolia is a country of rugged, vast and untouched terrains. In this suggested itinerary, discover two of its best-known wildernesses, the Gobi Desert and the Steppe. History comes alive in the desert, from ancient petroglyphs to the dinosaur fossils of the Flaming Cliffs of Bayanzag. In the heartlands of the Steppe, the nomadic way of life continues to thrive, and local families warmly invite you in to experience their traditional way of life. From crossing the desert on a camel to sleeping in a ger, this holiday will take you through a complete immersion of Mongolia’s unspoilt past.

From the first phone call to enquire about a holiday to the call we received after our holiday, I cannot say enough about this company. They are truly outstanding. I really look forward to working with them again in 2022 and hopefully for many years to come. There are no travel specialists like OROKO. 5 stars, just fantastic!
