Depart from Dublin to Xi’an, the capital of Shaanxi Province.

Your private driver will be waiting to transfer you to your luxury hotel. Often referred to the birthplace of Chinese civilisation, Xi’an offers incredible history and insight into ancient ruling dynasties.

Explore the city, where emperors reigned for thousands of years.

Visit highlights like the impressive Terracotta Army, ancient City Wall, vibrant food streets of the Muslim Quarter and the Great Mosque.

Fly to Dunhuang, a fertile oasis on the edge of the Taklamakan Desert.

Starting your exploration of the Silk Road, spend two nights in the ancient city which was one of the first trading cities encountered by merchants arriving in China.

Discover Dunhuang’s incredible natural treasures.

Embark on guided tours of Mingsha Sand Dunes and the Crescent Moon Lake that sits in the 2,000-year-old oasis. Continue to the ancient Mogao Grottos and return to admire the crafts of Shazhou Night Market.

Transfer to Turpan, via bullet train.

During your two night stay, explore the ruins of the old city of Jiaohe, be amazed by the ancient karez water system of Turpan and admire the astonishing scenery of the Flaming Mountains, one of the hottest places on earth!

Continue your exploration of the Silk Road.

Staying in Turpan’s unique landscape, embark on guided tours of the Astana Cemetery, Gaocheng Ruins, Tuyugou Valley, Sugong Mosque and Emin Minaret.

Depart for Kashgar, an oasis city along the Silk Road.

Spend two nights in the city, visiting the Kashgar Sunday Bazaar, the Old Town, Abakh Khoja Mausoleum and Id Kah Mosque. You’ll also enjoy a dinner with a local family in beautiful surroundings.

Depart for the global financial hub of Shanghai.

Spend three nights in the modern city that was once a humble fishing village. Set out on explorations of the art deco buildings of The Bund and the elegant streets of the French Concession.

Spend a day exploring Suzhou, a city renowned for its bridges, canals and beautiful gardens.

Visit Zhuozheng, the largest and most impressive garden of Suzhou. Continue to the Master of the Nets Garden and the striking space of Suzhou Museum.

Transfer to the international airport.
