Trip Overview

Depart from Dublin to Salalah.

Your private driver will transfer you to your luxury hotel in the subtropical city of Salalah where you will spend two nights.

Explore Salalah's charm on a privately guided tour.

Delve into the region’s culture and history visiting highlights like Al Hosn Palace and the Frankincense Market. Engage in authentic daily life, tasting tropical fruits and witnessing nomads care for their goats and camels.

Arrive in Oman’s desert.

Transfer to a desert camp, where you’ll spend the night glamping on the desert sands. Before arriving, you will stop at Khor Rori, once a port for the frankincense trade. Enjoy views of the mountains, coastline, nomad camps and fishing villages along the way.

Experience a night in the lost city of Ubar.

Climb to the top of the soft dunes for spectacular sunset views and spend your evening dining by the campfire and sleeping under the stars in an igloo tent.

Leave the sands for Al Hashman Village.

Stop at Hashman Oasis and marvel at the rare black camels unique to the area. Head south to explore Wadi Dawkah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its ancient and aromatic frankincense trees, then, transfer back to Salalah for your final two nights.

Set out on an exploration of West Salalah.

Alongside your expert, local guide, visit the scenically beautiful Al Mughsail Beach and Marneef Cave. Experience the dramatic Zigzag Road and enjoy a sunset dinner on Fazayah Beach.

Embark on a 4x4 safari in the Dhofar Mountains.

This scenic drive will take you to the ‘Grand Canyon’ of Dhofar, providing spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. You’ll witness one of the world’s largest sinkholes and make plenty of photo stops.

Transfer to Muscat for your flight home.
