Trip Overview

Depart from Dublin to Portland.

Upon arrival, collect your rental car and drive to your luxury hotel in the downtown Portland. Spend two nights here, exploring the trendy neighbourhoods and crossing the city’s nine iconic bridges.

Enjoy a taste of Portland produce.

Visit Sauvie Island for a beekeeping experience, where you’ll learn how to maintain a healthy hive. Afterwards, enjoy a sumptuous orchard picnic. Back in Portland, stop by some of the city’s most beloved cafes and micro-roasters, led by a local barista.

Drive along the Columbia River Gorge.

Arrive in Hood River for a two night stay. Explore the gorge’s dramatic landscapes by e-bike with your guide, riding along rocky cliffs at the Mosier Twin Tunnels and continuing past vineyards and orchards en route to the beautiful viewpoint at Rowena Crest.

Journey to Oregon’s coast.

Pass snow-capped mountains and lush forests before arriving in Cannon Beach for a two night stay. Explore Ecola State Park with a naturalist guide. Not only one of the state’s most picturesque landscapes, but the park was also the furthest point reached by Lewis and Clark’s Corps of Discovery.

Follow the Three Capes Scenic Loop south.

Arrive in Pacific City for a two night beachside stay. With your guide, trek over dunes to a secluded beach where you will roast s’mores over a bonfire. During your stay here, venture out to Netarts Bay to dig for clams before an evening cookout.

Set out for Willamette Valley Wine Country.

Arrive at your vineyard lodge for a two night stay. Enjoy an in-depth tour of the vineyard followed by a wine tasting. With your private guide, discover the other family-run vineyards in the valley. Enjoy locally farmed and foraged produce paired with tantalising wines.

Drive to the airport for your flight home.

Drop off your rental car and board your flight home. Arrive in Dublin.
