On this suggested itinerary, we will take you on a guided adventure, teaching you the magnificent religious history and culture of this small nation. Trip Overview

Depart from Dublin to Colombo and privately transfer to Sigiriya.

Check-in for your three night stay and relax by the pool in the afternoon sun. In the morning, we’ll take you to meet the large groups of toque macaques and grey langurs that live in the ancient complex of Polonnaruwa.

Set out on an adventurous guided climb up Sigiriya’s dramatic rock fortress.

Start at the beautiful rock gardens, whose moat once housed crocodile. Follow your personal guide up the UNESCO rock fortress, reaching the top for spectacular views over Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle.

Transfer to the rolling hills of Kandy.

During your two night stay, enjoy guided explorations of the iconic Temple of the Tooth and Dambulla Caves, home to the massive reclining Buddha, ancient statues and frescoed ceilings. We’ll also take you through the busy streets and markets of Kandy.

Board the Tea Train and set out on a scenic rail journey to Ella.

We’ve arranged a three night stay in a beautiful tea estate, where you’ll enjoy peaceful afternoons and a guided tea estate tour. A guided trek to the summit of Ella Rock has also been arranged for some sensational panoramic views.

Leave Tea Country and transfer to the wildlife-rich Yala National Park.

Stay in a luxurious woodland resort and enjoy two nights of guided jeep safaris in search of leopard, sloth bear, mugger crocodiles and wild elephants. In the evenings, enjoy casual beach BBQs and romantic al fresco dinners.

Transfer to a luxury beach resort in Tangalle for four nights of relaxation.

After your safari experience, relish in the luxurious surroundings of your resort. Lounge on the sandy shores, relax with a cocktail poolside and enjoy invigorating massages at the award-winning spa.

Set out on a transfer to your final stop in Galle.

Spending one night in a heritage hotel, enjoy one last day of exploration as you embark on a guided walking tour of Galle Fort. Learn about the rich culture and history of the fort before enjoying a glamorous dinner for your final evening.

Transfer to the international airport for your flight home.
