About Val d’Isere

Val d’Isère is naturally linked with Tignes which gives a huge ski area to choose from and has some of the most varied and exciting slopes in the Alps! The sophisticated town sits beneath the Tarentaise valley and its highest slopes are at almost 3400m, beneath the Pointe du Montet summit. This means that this resort is snow sure from early to late season.

Not only does Val d’Isère’s snow-sure slopes host some of the most famous ski and snowboard events every year, it has some of the best piste grooming and lift systems which means that the skiing is great for all levels and there’s virtually no queuing during peak weeks!

This is a very family friendly resort with lots of non-ski activities for kids to enjoy as well as the skiing.

Like most French resorts, Val d’Isère is home to the legendary Folie Douce après bar and restaurant on the mountain with the option to download on the gondola next door.

Fly direct from Dublin to Geneva. Upon arrival, you will be privately transferred to one of our partner properties in Meribel.

The snow sure resort of Val d’Isère is linked with Tignes, giving a huge ski area to explore.

It has some of the most varied and exciting slopes in the Alps and its highest slopes are at almost 3400m, beneath the Pointe du Montet summit.

A superb way to admire Val d’Isere and its impressive slopes is to embark on a paragliding adventure. A unique experience, take off and fly to a remote mountain slope, admiring the snowscape in between.

Allow us to make restaurant reservations at some of our favourite spots in Val d’Isère.

Atelier d’Edmond is a must visit for foodies given it has two Michelin-stars. Taste contemporary and innovative dishes, all with an alpine and regional Savoyard twist.

After a week on the slopes, it is time to return home.

You will be privately transferred to Geneva Airport for your flight home. Arrive in Dublin.
