Depart from Dublin to Thessaloniki.

Upon arrival in Saloniki Airport pick up your car and drive to your luxury hotel in Paliouri, a beautiful traditional village, where you will stay for the next 7 nights.

Today, drive to Ormos Panagias and enjoy a scenic cruise to Mount Athos, a mountainous cape prolific for its Eastern Orthodox monasticism. Sail on the shores of Sithonia in the direction of Mount Athos as you learn about Mount Athos’s history.

Embark on an archaeological adventure to Petralona.

Today, pay a visit to the picturesque hilltop village of Afytos which overlooks the Toroneos Gulf before exploring the famous limestone cave of the Petralona. Also known as the Cave of the Red Stones, Petralona is one of Europe’s most impressive and important caves after many archaeological finds including fossils and bones dating back approximately 700.000 years.
