Beginning in the beautiful colonial capital of Georgetown, embark on a 12 night adventure which takes in the best of these uncharted lands. Throughout your journey, all activities are included and you’ll be staying on half-board or full-board in every property you stay in.

Visit the world’s highest waterfall and make once in a lifetime memories. Discover plant and birdlife in the rainforest with walks through the forest canopy, thirty metres above ground. Let the adventure begin with flight into the rainforest and the mighty Kaieteur Falls.

The falls stand five times taller than Niagara and there are no other falls in the world with the magnitude of the sheer drop existing at Kaieteur. Experience the majesty of the falls as thousands of tonnes of water flow over a 741 foot drop and crash onto the sandstone below.

Privately transfer on arrival to a beautiful lodge in the Iwokrama Rainforest, where you’ll spend two nights on the banks of the Essequibo River. Relax in the serene surroundings and take in the beauty of the nature surrounding you.

Leave the lodge by boat and begin the hike to Turtle Mountain.

A well maintained trail winds through the forest before an exhilarating climb up the mountain to its summit at 935 feet. The effort is more than worth it for the breathtaking views over the forest canopy from the top.

Journey into the rainforest on a mini safari.

As you make your way to the next stop on your trip, keep a lookout for jaguar roaming the undergrowth. Along the road, watch for the myriad of bird species that frequent the forest edge, including Crimson and Purple-necked Fruit-crow, Crimson Topaz, Green Oropendula, Blue-cheeked and Orange-winged Parrot and Gray-winged Trumpeter.

Arrive at a beautiful rainforest lodge.

Spend a further two nights in the Iwokrama rainforest in another handpicked lodge. Explore the trails around the lodge with an Iwokrama Ranger. Enjoy guided hikes through the forest each day. Learn about the local flora and fauna and the incredible eco-system that thrives in these unique conditions.

Spot rare and unique species of bird from the walkway such as the Capuchin bird, Black Nunbird, Chestnut-rumped Woodcreeper and many more.

Transfer by 4x4 vehicle from Atta Rainforest Lodge through the Iwokrama rainforest to Ginep Landing.

From Ginep Landing, take a boat trip on the Rupununi River to Karanambu. Spend three nights in an eco-tourism focused cattle ranch. Surrounded by savannah and rainforest, relax on a hammock in the remote calm that is created here.

Indulge in birdwatching, wild otter spotting and track giant anteater with the help of a local guide who knows all of the wildlife hotspots.
