50 Years of Victory, which has a guest capacity of 160, is one of the world’s most powerful nuclear icebreakers. As an Arktika-class icebreaker, this vessel is capable of crushing through ice up to 9.2 feet thick.

A helicopter for shore excursions and flight-seeing make 50 Years of Victory a ship unlike any other, with the ability to go where other ships cannot.
Multi-purpose Sports Court
A multi-purpose sports court is available for all guests to use during their cruise.
50 Years of Victory Bridge
During your voyage you may be given access to the Bridge, where you can observe how the Captain and officers sail and navigate the ship.

The well-stocked bar on the ship is open to enjoy with your fellow shipmates in the late morning, afternoon and evening.

50 Years of Victory features a small, heated saltwater plunge pool for guests to enjoy.
Enjoy a library of polar books, reference and general reading materials in multiple languages covering subjects like wildlife, history, marine biology, ecology and geology. The library is open 24 hours a day and also includes a selection of games for your entertainment.

If you’re truly up for adventure, you can even choose to polar plunge or soar above the Arctic on a hot air balloon ride.

Depart from Dublin to Helsinki, the capital of Finland

Your private driver will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel for your one-night stay. In the morning, you will take a charter flight to Murmansk, Russia.

Cross the Arctic Ocean aboard the world’s largest and most powerful nuclear icebreakers.

Step aboard Quark’s M/V 50 Years of Victory and explore the various facilities and expansive viewing deck. Start your 12 night adventure with an insightful presentation from polar guides as you set off across the ocean.

Salute your arrival at the top of the world. Celebrate and toast with fellow guests while enjoying a barbeque on the ice. If the opportunity allows, commemorate this great moment with a polar plunge into the icy waters of the North Pole.

The Arctic’s most iconic animal, it truly is spectacular to witness polar bears in action. As you venture southbound, this will be one of the best times to spot them hunting. Expert guides will be on hand to help you capture the best photographs.

Setting out with expedition guides on Zodiac excursions, cruise beneath towering cliffs and witness the remote seabird colonies of the archipelago. You may also choose to set out on a flightseeing expedition by helicopter.

Return to Russia’s most northerly city, where you’ll bid farewell to the mighty vessel and expeditions team. Board your charter flight and fly to Helsinki.
