Trip Overview

Depart from Dublin to Colombo and on towards Kegalle.

Upon arrival in Colombo, your private driver will be waiting to transfer you to your luxury estate house accommodation in Kegalle’s countryside, where you’ll spend the next two nights.

Embark on a Kandy temple and city walk.

With your private guide, stroll through the magnificent Temple of the Tooth complex. Continue through the busy streets of Kandy, visiting local landmarks and colourful markets. We’ve also arranged a private guided tour of Rosyth Tea Estate in Kegalle.

Colombo Temple
Transfer to Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle.

Spend three nights in a luxury eco-resort and visit the iconic Dambulla Cave Temple. Housing over 2,000 years of history, the complex houses exquisite ancient statues and ceiling frescos. The highlight for many is witnessing the enormous reclining Buddha.

Dambulla
Explore the Kingdom of Polonnaruwa with a local guide.

Discover the ancient ruins on a privately guided tour, starting with the King’s Palace and Baths, wandering to the tooth relic temples and finishing by admiring the various stupas. Afterwards, we’ve arranged a climb to Pidurangala Rock for panoramic views.

Sigiriya
Embark on an evening climb to Pidurangala Rock.

You’ll also take to the open paddy fields on a bullock-cart ride and arrive at a small hamlet for a tour of the vegetable and fruit plantations. Finish with a traditional Sri Lankan lunch.

Sri Lanka Paddy Field
Transfer to the remote shores of Trincomalee for your peaceful beach stay.

Enjoy four nights of uninterrupted beachside relaxation on the secluded shores of the Bay of Bengal. Pick up the pace once again, where we’ll transfer you to Wilpattu National Park for a two night stay.

Trincomalee
Set out on twice-daily guided game drives in Wilpattu.

Enjoy an authentic safari experience, witnessing wild elephants, leopards, sloth bear, spotted deer and painted stork. Made up of salt grass meadows, sand-rimmed water basins and forests, prepare for outstanding diversity.

Elephant
Transfer to the capital of Colombo.

During your one night stay in a luxury heritage hotel, we’ve arranged a guided exploration of Colombo by tuk tuk. Visit iconic landmarks like the pink Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque, Gangaramaya Temple and Sri Ponnambala Vaneswarar Temple.
