The Eastern & Oriental Express

The Eastern & Oriental Express is one of the world's great train journeys, an experience that is never forgotten. It runs through the lush beauty of the Malay Peninsula, from Bangkok to the sweeping countryside of Thailand, then into Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. Combining adventure, culture and relaxation, admire the character, heritage and outstanding natural beauty of southeast Asia. The train cruises through some of the most scenic and historical parts of Southeast Asia, so to do it justice, guests are offered a number of excursions. Our suggested itinerary immerses you in the culture of Bangkok before boarding the glamorous train for a scenic journey towards Singapore.

In the afternoon, visit the observation car for superb views and photo opportunities of the ever-changing landscape. From paddy fields to tea plantations, witness the countryside that makes Southeast Asia so unique.
