In the experienced hands of OROKO, delve deep into the snow-covered landscapes and set out on authentic experiences like sleigh rides, lunches with local families and dog sledding on Lake Baikal. Trip Overview

Depart from Dublin to St Petersburg.

Your private driver will be waiting to transfer you to your luxury hotel in the heart of the city. To make your three-night stay extra special, we can arrange a night at the Russian ballet.

Wander the streets of St Petersburg.

With your expert guide, spend two days visiting landmarks like the Peter and Paul Fortress, St Isaac’s Cathedral and the lavish St Catherine’s Palace. We’ll also take you to the see impressive art collections of the Hermitage Museum and the world-famous Fabergé eggs.

Depart for Siberia.

Land in the Siberian city of Irkutsk, where we’ve arranged a two-night stay. During your time in Irkutsk, we will take you on a privately guided city tour, introducing you to sites like the Church Belltower & Bell Chimes and the timber neighbourhood of the Kvartel Project.

Experience authentic Siberian life.

Today will start with a fun three-horse sleigh ride through the taiga forest, followed by lunch with a local family at their dacha (summer cottage). Visit the Angara Icebreaker and ice sculptures of Kirov Square before arriving in the lakeside village of Listvyanka for your three night stay.

A Snowmobile and sled ride on Lake Baikal.

A fun day awaits, starting with snowmobiling to Chernaya Lodge. Enjoy lunch at a local family home before snowmobiling on Lake Baikal and setting out on a dog sled ride with Siberian huskies. Return to your hotel for a traditional Russian bath before dinner.

Today will be somewhat more relaxed, leaving adventure behind for a cultural exploration of Baikal town and the surrounding area. We’ll also take you to Chersky Mount Viewpoint where you’ll tie a ribbon or prayer flag to represent your wish or prayer.

Hovercraft to Sagan Zaba Cliffs.

Another adrenaline-filled day begins, with a hovercrafting experience along the northeastern shores of Lake Baikal. Continue to Peschanaya Bay before arriving on the shores of Olkhon Island, where you’ll spend three nights in an island hotel.

Explore Olkhon Island.

Set in the middle of Lake Baikal, it is the third-largest lake island in the world. Today will be spent discovering it with your local guide who will introduce you to Khuzhir Village, Olkhon Nature and History Museum and the picturesque Khoboy Cape.

Transfer to Irkutsk.

We are taking you back to Irkutsk for one night so that you can appreciate the nearby town of Ust-Ordynski, the home of the indigenous Buryat people. We’ll take you to its reconstructed Buddhist monastery followed by lunch at a local café.

Transfer to the international airport for your flight home.
